Jason Harrison Joins YHC IP

We are pleased to welcome Jason Harrison to YHC Intellectual Property as U.S. Patent Prosecution Counsel.

Mr. Harrison is a registered U.S. patent attorney with a strong technical foundation in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, and advanced software-driven systems. He brings significant experience in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications across a broad range of technologies, including medical devices, telecommunications, blockchain systems, software, and sensor technologies.

Mr. Harrison’s background includes:
Juris Doctor, Washington University School of Law
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Washington University McKelvey School of Engineering
Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, University of Miami
Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar

At YHC Intellectual Property, Mr. Harrison will contribute to the firm’s work in developing and executing strategic, business-aligned patent portfolios for clients in the United States and internationally. His experience in claim strategy, Office Action practice, PCT management, and global prosecution coordination strengthens our ability to support innovators across complex, interdisciplinary technologies.

After training at Fish & Richardson, Yau led software and electrical engineering prosecution and portfolio development at a boutique patent firm in Austin, TX, where he successfully prosecuted approximately 30 patents to issue over 24 months. Mr. Chan represented clients worldwide before the USPTO & WIPO Yau Chan is now working from London, serving clients worldwide.
